Protein on the Go officially came to life on September 13, 2024, but the work began more than 8 months before our first order was ever placed. During those months, I worked on shaping the brand, developing the concept, building the menu, and turning an idea I deeply believed in into something real.

I created Protein on the Go with a simple purpose: to make eating well easier without asking people to sacrifice flavor, quality, or variety. I wanted to build a place where someone could enjoy a protein shake, breakfast, a full meal, or something sweet and feel confident knowing it was prepared with care.

Today, Protein on the Go operates from inside Patio del Copal on Branham Lane in San Jose. We may not have a storefront of our own yet, but this kitchen is where our journey began. It is where the first POG order was prepared, where new recipes have been tested, where lessons have been learned, and where our vision continues to grow one order at a time.

We are a small, woman owned business being built from the ground up. But being small has never meant caring less. Every order carries our name, and we take that personally. Most of our food is made from scratch after you order never pre made or frozen because freshness is not simply something we advertise. It is one of the standards on which we are building this brand.

We are constantly listening, learning, and improving. We pay attention to what our customers enjoy, what they need, and where we can do better. We will never claim to have reached perfection, but we will always work toward it with intention, honesty, and respect for every person who chooses to support us.

Our dream is bigger than the space we currently occupy. We are working toward the day when Protein on the Go has a home of its own and can serve even more people. But we are proud of where we began, because every meaningful journey has a first kitchen, a first customer, and a first person willing to believe in it.
